A delegation from the GENDA Empowerment Foundation met on Friday with His Excellency, Senator Ayim Pius Ayim, Former Senate President and Secretary to the Government of the Federation..

The purpose of the meeting, as outlined by David Nwokorie, the Executive Director and Founder of the GENDA Foundation, was to seek Senator Ayim's support for a range of the Foundation’s initiatives, including the African Youth Leadership Center and the upcoming 4th edition of the African Youth Conference, scheduled for June this year.

This year’s theme, SDG 9: Innovation, Industry, and Resilient Infrastructure, focuses on fostering sustainable solutions that will create opportunities for youth to drive growth in their respective nations.

Genevieve Hillary, Co-founder of the GENDA Foundation, emphasized, "The Foundation is deeply committed to youth development at all levels and continues to prioritize providing essential resources to ensure the sustainability of aspiring young leaders."

This year's African Youth Conference is being organized by the GENDA Foundation, in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology, UNESCO, and the ECOWAS Youth and Sports Development Center.
